oh, let's back up. i guess i made eggs benedict. i can only think of the hollandaise though...nothing else matters! i will try to care though. i have zero bread things in my kitchen so i made hashbrown-ish things. shredded potato mixed with, actually, the leftover filling from yesterdays' pastry bundles...(mushroom, onion, cabbage, etc). i pan fried those suckers and they were alright. i layered some of that smoked ham (also from yesterday), old cheddar, carefully placed a poached egg on top of that AND THEN THE HOLLANDAISE SAUCE OVER IT ALL. (with dill on top). hahahhaahah. im not sure i've ever gone so mental about a food-thing before.
though i've poached eggs before, i admittedly dont do it often...but was also pleased with that aspect of the 'dish' (i want to punch myself right now). note to self: poach eggs more often.
HOLLANDAISE FOREVER YOU ARE MINE.
