tuesday march 2nd

TOO MUCH PORK DAY 3: POUTINE.



whenever i make gravy and have leftover i immediately start fantasizing about poutine. i love poutine. so. much.

i wish i took more pictures.

i roasted thickly cut 'fries' in the oven..seasoned with pepper and kosher salt and a bit of garlic powder. i wanted them to be sturdy/crispy enough to be able to stand up to all the junk i was about to put on them. i sauteed cremini mushrooms, green onion, and the roast pork. i fucked with the leftover gravy a bit by adding miso to it and more vegetable stock just to get more volume. i love miso gravy. i didnt have any cheese curds (obviously?) and just grated old white cheddar onto the fries, followed by the sautemixture and finally, the gravy.




everyone was happy and we all got along.

That is a pretty fancy shirt... no comment on the boy as I've never believed he was real until now.
